Ever wonder about the world's largest rubber band ball? What about the Cathedral of Junk? Well, quit wondering! Roadside America is here to help. It is the quintessential guide to uniquely odd tourist attractions. It has a massive database of quirky and fun tourist attractions from all over the United States. You can even learn more about the exact midway point of the historic Route 66 -- which happens to be in Adrian, TX (a little west of Amarillo). The site gives you access to a map, trip planner, and tons of interesting places to stop on your road trips. I discovered this site several months ago, but have been using it recently since I'm planning an upcoming trip to Denver in August.
