HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

After braving Seattle late at night all by my lonesome to get to the Space Needle, I got to see a pretty good fireworks display to ring in the new year. I took the monorail out to Seattle Center. Watching the fireworks down at Seattle Center was much better than on the rooftop of the building a couple miles away.
Based on my own experience, I can definitely quash the claims of my brother's misinformed associate. New Year's celebrations at the Seattle Center and the Space Needle are great and appeared to be quite safe. There was a visibly decent sized Seattle Police Department security force present. The grounds were crowded, but the experience was well worth it.
It's 2009! A year full of so much possibility and opportunity.

Awe, honey, wish I could have celebrated new years with you. I fell asleep early because of all the medications I was on. But the fireworks looks amazing! Miss you.

No, I called you before the show even started. Remember it was like 11:30.
I wish you would have called me too on New Year's Eve.
